Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé NV

Subtle and delicate aromas of red berries and citrus fruit. On the palate the wine is light and elegant in flavour with notes of raspberry and a finishing racing with fresh acidity. This cuvée is an ideal aperitif, but also equally at home accompanying a dish of wild salmon or sushi. It would also pair beautifully with desert, particularly coupled with a dish featuring prominent red-fruit flavours.

Produced from 30% Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, 40% Chardonnay, and 30% Pinot Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the southern slopes of Epernay. The cuvée is vinified in stainless steel tanks and allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation. 40% of the blend consists of reserve wines and it is aged on lees for 36 months prior to disgorgement.

Based in the town of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Billecart-Salmon is one of the most renowned and highly regarded Champagne houses today. It all started in 1818 when Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon were married, marking the creation of their Champagne house. Since then there has been over 7 generations dedicated to bringing exceptional cuvées to the world, and the house remains family owned to this day.
