Change of Mind
Unfortunately due to the delicate and perishable nature of sparkling wine & Champagne, we cannot accept returns unless the wine was damaged in transit, or is experiencing cork taint.
We ensure all wine is delivered to us and stored in a climate and humidity controlled cellar prior to dispatch.
Damages and Order Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate and fix the issue as soon as possible, usually through an exchange or refund.
Cork Taint
Many bottles of Champagne and sparkling wine are sealed with a natural cork, and can be subject to what is called 'cork taint'. This can usually resemble the aroma of wet cardboard, or a dusty, dull smell. It also often accompanies a reduction in the aromas of fruit within the wine.
However, it is not dangerous and is a completely natural occurrence which is due to the chemical compounds TCA and TBA being present in the wine after having been transferred via some natural corks.
If you notice that your wine has cork taint, please get in touch and we will organise a replacement or refund as soon as possible. This may take some time, as we notify our suppliers to ensure they are aware of the issue and organise replacement or refund via them. So please be patient with us.
