Billecart-Salmon Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru NV

Ultra-delicate bubbles with a yellow-gold hue and glints of green. The aroma is subtle, very pure and mineral, featuring notes of brioche, fresh butter and lemony citrus fruits. On the palate the wine is creamy with a chalky and meringue-like texture, mixed with hints of fresh almonds and citron zest.

Vilified in stainless steel tanks, the wine undergoes partial malolactic fermentation. The cuvée is produced using 33-40% of reserve wines, and spends on average 3-5 years ageing on lees.

Based in the town of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Billecart-Salmon is one of the most renowned and highly regarded Champagne houses today. It all started in 1818 when Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon were married, marking the creation of their Champagne house. Since then there has been over 7 generations dedicated to bringing exceptional cuvées to the world, and the house remains family owned to this day.
