Barringwood Classic Cuvée 2016

Aromas of apple, citrus, sea-spray and brioche.
The palate is fresh palate with a fine bead and crisp minerality. Enjoyable by itself, or with calamari, oysters, aged parmigiano reggiano, triple crème cheese.

A classic combination of Pinot Noir (48%), Chardonnay (43%) and Pinot Meunier (9%). The grapes were whole bunch-pressed, blended and under went full malolactic fermentation and batonnage in tank. The cuvée was then crafted using the Méthode Traditionnelle process, including spending 36 months on its yeast lees.

Barringwood vineyard is located on a steep north facing slope over looking the Don Valley in Tasmania’s North West. Established in 1993 the vineyard rises to an elevation of 280m and has a long mild growing season perfectly suited to creating premium quality sparkling.
