Mayer 'The Doctor' Pinot Noir 2022

Timo Mayer made quite a name for himself as in the Yarra Valley in Victoria, where he started his own winemaking in the 2000s. Since then, he became known for his distinctive and unique wines, full of character and personality, always emphasising terroir.

The Doctor Pinot Noir is Mayer's funky alternative to his 'Close Planted' cuvée. Here he utilises 100% whole bunch fermentation. This extra stalk component sees a wine with more intense texture and tannin structure, something Timo Mayer is very passionate about.
