Barringwood Tasmanian Cuvée Méthode Traditionelle NV

With just 17 months on lees, this cuvée is all about primary fruit, led by Pinot Noir’s expressions of red apple and cherry. On the palate the wine is beautifully balanced between ripe fruit, a soft texture, and vibrant Tasmanian acidity.

A Chardonnay (64%) and Pinot Noir (36%) blend, crafted using the Méthode Traditionelle process. Which includes partial malolactic fermentation (60%) and 15 months on lees prior to disgorgement.

Barringwood vineyard is located on a steep north facing slope over looking the Don Valley in Tasmania’s North West. Established in 1993 the vineyard rises to an elevation of 280m and has a long mild growing season perfectly suited to creating premium quality sparkling.
