Domaine Laroche Chablis Premier Cru 'L'Homme Mort' 2021

L'Homme Mort is northerly located in the Fourchaume Premier Cru vineyard, on the east bank of the Serein River and 4.5km north of the town of Chablis proper. Its limestone rich soil and south face exposure and abundant sunshine make it an early-ripening site, able to deliver more body and structure to the wine, and a incredible minerality. 

Fun fact: L'Homme Mort's translates to "the dead man" in French, name which comes from the discovery of several sarcophagi in a Roman-era vineyard nearby.
